We are a non-profit youth organization located in deer park, long island, new york. We are a member of the suffolk county girls lacrosse league (scgl).
We are primarily a spring sport. Games are played from the beginning of april to the middle of June. Games are usually played on Sundays. Non-league games are sometimes played over the summer break and in the winter months (indoor). We participate in several “Round-Robin” tournaments throughout the spring and also the year end “Suffolk County Girls Lacrosse Jamboree” usually held in the beginning of June.
We begin indoor skills practice in the month of November, and begin full practice usually in March, as weather permits.
We have two adult coaches per team and usually a few assistant coaches per team.The assistant coaches are high school girl lacrosse players, who volunteer their time and are a great inspiration to our younger girls.
We provide the necessary elements to teach all aspects of this exciting sport.
